PARAGLIDER CHECK

The check center is an independent inspection company. We check and repair according to the specifications of the respective manufacturers.
During the follow-up inspection (2-year check), the glider is checked holistically and all parameters that ensure the flight safety of your paraglider are documented

Here is a brief description of the work steps:

For the first time, the documentation of the umbrella and the entry into the computer system. All the target data of your glider is recorded. Now we measure the air permeability of the fabric in the most stressed areas. The air flow is tested with a porosimeter. For older umbrellas, a bedometer is also used to determine the tear resistance of the fabric.

This is followed by the Visual inspection of your paraglider . The paraglider is mounted on a special device to check all parts, especially the interior, for cracks and small holes. We subject the lines and risers to a visual and tactile inspection. Each line is checked by hand, from the line lock to the loop. Broken lines are replaced.

If we discover major damage at this point, we will immediately contact the customer to avoid unnecessary costs for a completed inspection.

Then the tear resistance the lines are checked. According to the manufacturer's instructions, the lines to be checked are removed and exact duplicates are made. The removed lines are then stretched on a line tearing machine and then torn. We determine the tear value of each individual line, which must not be less than the calculated average of 8G. If this test is also positive, the line lengths are then measured using laser measuring technology.

At the trim It is very important to us that the values ​​of the lines are not "just" within the normal range. The trim should, as best as possible, be based on the new values.

This is done by changing the loops on the line locks and/or the gallery lines. If one or more lines are outside the permitted limits, they are remade.

Once all the necessary corrections have been made, the glider is given a check stamp after a final inspection. Safe flying is then guaranteed again.
