The first TENOR light was an extremely popular wing. Extremely light and powerful. Due to its speed and stability, it was the perfect wing for high alpine flying adventures.
Now the second generation is even better!
-in every respect:
The TENOR 2 light is even lighter, even simpler, even more powerful!
Despite a more complex internal structure and even a larger surface, the second generation of the TENOR lost weight: around 200g!
The TENOR 2 light is a technically very complex wing for its class (Low to Mid B).
-and this high level of technical effort enabled a further weight reduction.
We removed suspended profiles and replaced them with super-lightweight non-suspended profiles supported by optimized finger diagonals.
-which results in fewer lines and less weight.
The new rod material offers a very high level of rigidity in relation to its weight. This makes the TENOR 2 light much easier to launch than the first generation. Reliable inflation behavior during launch is a must for high alpine launches!
Safety has always been a key plus point of the TENOR concept. The TENOR 2 light once again sets new standards in this area. The ratio of safety to speed is unique! You can fly fast and still feel safe!
TENOR 2 light Designer's Note
The first generation TENOR light was a bestseller and very popular. It was the first choice for performance-oriented super-light equipment.
With the 2nd generation we wanted to achieve an even lower weight.
-also with the slightly larger surface of the TENOR 2 light.
We achieved this goal by consistently reducing the weight of the interior structure.The super light and dimensionally stable, double coated Porcher Skytex 27 was again the first choice as it has proven to be durable and reliable.
